This bill aims to change the rules for the Transit Improvement Bonus in Philadelphia's zoning code, which affects how developers can build near public transportation. The changes would clarify the bonus rules and revise how it works. This affects developers, property owners, and residents near transit areas.

April 07, 2026 TO THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA: I am submitting herewith for the consideration of your Honorable Body the following proposed Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE To amend Title 14 of the Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by revising certain provisions relating to the Transit Improvement Bonus, to clarify its parameters and revise the bonus structure, and by making related changes, all under certain terms and conditions. I hereby recommend your favorable consideration of this proposed Ordinance. Respectfully, Cherelle L. Parker Mayor
