This lapsed resolution would have authorized City Council’s Public Health & Human Services and Public Safety committees to hold a joint hearing on the quality of drinking water in School District of Philadelphia buildings.
Authorizing City Council's Committees on Public Health & Human Services and Public Safety to hold an immediate joint committee hearing to investigate the quality levels of drinking water the City's school children and teachers are exposed to throughout the School District of Philadelphia in order to ensure the children and the general public are safe from any toxic threat to their health.

This enacted measure changes Philadelphia’s property maintenance rules for vacant buildings.
Amending Subcode "PM" of Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "The Philadelphia Property Maintenance Code," by amending Section PM-306.0, which requires owners of vacant buildings to prevent unauthorized entry to the building by securing or sealing doors, windows, or other entrances and openings to the building, by providing that a separate penalty may be imposed for each such entrance or opening that the owner has failed to secure after notice has been issued; all under certain terms and conditions.

Amending Chapter 10-100 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Animals," by amending Section 10-105, entitled "Animals Committing Nuisances," by expanding the section to include nuisances committed upon the private property of the owner and animal noises which cause unreasonable annoyance, disturbance or discomfort to a person or persons, all under certain terms and conditions.
