This lapsed bill would have amended Philadelphia’s safety code to prohibit people from inhaling or ingesting nitrous oxide to become intoxicated or otherwise affect their nervous system, except for medical, surgical, or dental care by a licensed person.
Amending Chapter 10-800 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Safety," by prohibiting the inhalation of nitrous oxide for non-medical purposes, and by prohibiting the purchase, possession, sale, offering for sale, or other distribution of nitrous oxide for prohibited purposes; all under certain terms and conditions.
