This lapsed bill would have allowed the owners and tenants of 105 South Twelfth Street to sell goods on the sidewalk without certain Center City sidewalk-vending requirements, including a license requirement.
Amending Section 9-204 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sidewalk Vendors in Center City," by exempting sidewalk sales by owners and tenants of 105 South Twelfth street, and permitting such activity under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted measure establishes a Philadelphia job creation tax credit for eligible businesses that create at least 25 full-time jobs or increase their workforce by at least 20% within five years.
Amending Chapter 19-2600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Business Privilege Taxes," by establishing a program under which a Job Creation Tax Credit will be given to certain businesses creating new jobs in the City of Philadelphia; all under certain terms and conditions.

Amending Chapter 19-2600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Business Privilege Taxes," by eliminating the prepaid structure of the tax, by clarifying the period to be used in computation of the tax, by requiring the payment of an estimated payment, by ensuring that gains from the termination of the business are subject to tax, by clarifying the treatment of calendar and fiscal taxpayers and by amending definitions of the tax, under certain terms and conditions.
