This adopted resolution urges the Pennsylvania General Assembly to require firearm manufacturers to ship a fired shell casing in a sealed container with every firearm delivered in Pennsylvania.
Urging the Pennsylvania General Assembly to enact legislation requiring every manufacturer that ships, transports or delivers a firearm to any person in the state of Pennsylvania to include, in a sealed container, a shell casing of a bullet or projectile discharged from such firearm; and requiring the Pennsylvania State Police to create and maintain an automated electronic statewide ballistic database; and requiring that the Pennsylvania State Police enter in such database information and other ballistic data relevant to identification of the shell casing and the firearm from which it was discharged for every firearm sold, transported, or delivered to any person in the state of Pennsylvania.

The enacted bill readopts and clarifies a pilot program giving eligible businesses a $100,000 annual credit against their business privilege taxes when they contribute $100,000 per year to a qualifying community development corporation for economic development activities in Philadelphia.
Amending Chapter 19-2600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Business Privilege Taxes," by readopting and clarifying a pilot program under which a credit against business privilege taxes will be given to certain businesses that contribute monies to community development corporations undertaking economic development activities within the City of Philadelphia; all under certain terms and conditions.
