Approving the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the Cecil B. Moore Avenue Urban Renewal Area, designated as Parcel No. 71 also sometimes identified by respective house number and street address as 1712 Cecil B. Moore avenue; authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Wilbert E. Foster, Jr. and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement.

This adopted resolution calls on Cintas Corporation to stop practices that oppose its employees’ efforts to unionize and urges Starbucks to stop doing business with Cintas until it treats employees according to those standards.
Calling on the Cintas Corporation, the largest uniform rental provider and industrial launderer in North America, to cease its pattern of unfair labor practices in opposition to efforts by their employees to unionize, and further, urging, Starbucks Coffee Company, a company with a stated mission and a record of high standards of corporate conduct, who has recently agreed to purchase services from Cintas, to use its managerial discretion to cease doing business with Cintas until Cintas abides by these same standards in the treatment of their employees.
