This lapsed bill would have required any suite, box, or other space at a sports facility that the City could use or control through a contract to be leased to the highest responsible bidder.
Amending Title 17 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Contracts and Procurement," by providing that if any existing or new City contract grants the City the right to use or control the use of a suite, box, or other portion of a sports stadium, ballpark, arena, or other sports facility ("City suite"), such City suite must be leased by the City to the highest responsible bidder; all under certain terms and conditions.
