This adopted resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to transfer conditional ownership of certain City-owned lots and buildings in the Fifteenth and Thirty-second Wards to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority without payment.
Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property to execute and deliver to the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia, without consideration, deeds conveying conditional fee simple title to certain City-owned lots or pieces of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon, situate in the Fifteenth & Thirty-second Wards of the City of Philadelphia, pursuant to Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code and authorizing the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia to dispose of such properties for rehabilitation and/or improvement in accordance with the terms of Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code.

This adopted resolution urges the Pennsylvania General Assembly to amend Act 46 so Philadelphia could adjust the School District’s share of the real estate tax and the city’s use and occupancy tax rates.
Urging the Pennsylvania General Assembly to amend Act 46 to allow the City of Philadelphia to alter the tax rate for the Philadelphia School District's portion of the real estate tax and the City's use and occupancy tax, only to the extent that would maintain the District's current revenue derived from these sources.
