This enacted ordinance gives Krishna Krupa, LLC, which operates the newsstand at Broad and Locust Streets, permission to build and maintain underground conduits in the public right-of-way to provide electrical and telephone service to the newsstand.
Granting permission to Krishna Krupa, LLC, owner and operator of the newsstand located on the northwest corner of Broad and Locust Streets, to construct, use and maintain conduits for fiber optic facilities in, under and across the northwest corner of Broad and Locust Streets, for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone service to said newsstand.

This enacted measure amended Philadelphia’s street rules to prohibit new curb cuts within 65 feet of residential property when they would provide vehicle or delivery-truck access from a city street to an Area Shopping Center District lot of at least 625,000 square feet.
Amending Title 11 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Streets," by prohibiting the construction or establishment of curb cuts for vehicular access to certain shopping areas, under certain terms and conditions.
