This enacted ordinance adds hearing-protection requirements to Philadelphia’s Health Code for Fire Department members, including firefighters and paramedics.
Amending Title 6 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Health Code," by adopting certain provisions of the National Fire Protection Association Standard on Fire Department Occupational Safety and Health Program, NFPA 1500, related to hearing protection measures for Firefighters and Paramedics, with amendments thereto, all under certain terms and conditions.

This lapsed bill would have required chain restaurants and certain other food establishments operating under the same trade name as at least 10 locations to display nutrition information for menu items.
Amending Title 6 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Health Code," by adding a new section requiring that chain restaurants obtain and display certain nutrition information for food, meal and beverage items offered for sale, and by making certain technical changes, all under certain terms and conditions.
