This enacted measure expanded Philadelphia’s tax-credit program for businesses that contribute $100,000 per year for 10 consecutive years to a designated community development corporation.
Amending Chapter 19-2600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Business Privilege Taxes," by expanding the program under which a credit against business privilege taxes is given to certain businesses that contribute monies to community development corporations undertaking economic development activities within the City of Philadelphia; all under certain terms and conditions.

The enacted ordinance authorized Philadelphia to borrow up to $53.84 million through general obligation bonds, subject to voter consent, for transit, streets and sanitation, municipal buildings, parks, recreation and museums, and economic and community development.

The enacted ordinance authorizes the City’s Board of Surveyors to move the east curb line of Broad Street about 9 feet 6 inches eastward along a roughly 112-foot section south of Fitzwater Street.
Authorizing and directing the revision of curb lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 97 by relocating the easterly curb line of Broad street approximately nine feet six inches eastwardly, from a point approximately seventy-seven feet one inch south of the south curb line of Fitzwater street the distance of approximately one hundred twelve feet two inches to a point approximately one hundred eighty-nine feet three inches south of the south curb line of Fitzwater street, under certain terms and conditions.
