This adopted resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to transfer certain City-owned lots and buildings in Philadelphia’s Sixth and Twenty-seventh Wards to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority without payment.
Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property to execute and deliver to the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia, without consideration, deeds conveying conditional fee simple title to certain City-owned lots or pieces of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon, situate in the Sixth and Twenty-seventh Wards of the City of Philadelphia, pursuant to Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code and authorizing the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia to dispose of such properties for rehabilitation and/or improvement in accordance with the terms of Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code.

Further amending Bill No. 070368, entitled "An Ordinance approving the Fiscal Year 2008 Capital Budget providing for expenditures for the capital purposes of the Philadelphia Gas Works (including the supplying of funds in connection therewith) subject to certain constraints and conditions, and acknowledging receipt of the Forecast of Capital Budgets for Fiscal Years 2009 through 2013", as previously amended by Bill No. 080076, by approving a further revised Capital Budget for Fiscal Year 2008.

This enacted ordinance provides unpaid leave for employees who experience domestic or sexual violence, or whose family or household member does, so they can seek medical care, counseling, victim services, safety or relocation assistance, or legal help.
Amending Section 9-1103 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Unlawful Employment Practices," and enacting a new Chapter 9-3200, entitled "Entitlement To Leave Due To Domestic Or Sexual Violence," to provide that certain employees may take unpaid leave from work to address domestic or sexual violence; all under certain terms and conditions.
