This enacted law requires lobbyists, lobbying firms, and the organizations or people they represent to register with the Philadelphia Board of Ethics and disclose lobbying expenses, including spending on communications, gifts, hospitality, transportation, and lodging.
Amending Title 20 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Officers and Employees," by adding a new Chapter requiring the registration of lobbyists and their principals, and requiring disclosure of lobbying expenditures, all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted law changes Philadelphia’s rules on political contributions and expenditures for sample ballots that list more than one candidate.
Amending Chapter 20-1000 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Political Contributions and Expenditures," by providing that expenditures incurred in the printing or distribution of sample ballots shall not be considered a contribution for purposes of the contribution limits of that Chapter, and clarifying that the requirement of a single candidate political committee does not prohibit other committees or entities from making expenditures for the printing or distribution of sample ballots listing the names of more than one candidate, all under certain terms and conditions.
