Approving the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement of the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the Melville Urban Renewal Area, designated as Parcel No. 2A and also sometimes identified by house number and street address as 4508 Rear Kingsessing avenue; authorizing the Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Charlene Middleton and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract and disposition supplement.

This adopted resolution authorizes the City’s Public Property Commissioner to transfer conditional ownership of 708 North 40th Street to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority without payment.

This enacted bill authorizes Philadelphia’s Commerce and Finance directors to amend and restate agreements related to the Gallery II parking garage in the Market Street East redevelopment project.
Authorizing the Director of Commerce and the Director of Finance to enter into a multi-year agreement or agreements with the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development ("PAID"), the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia ("RDA"), and other parties as necessary concerning the parking garage project constructed as part of the overall Market Street East - Gallery II Redevelopment Project, including an amendment to the agreement between the City and PAID, as amended, originally authorized by Bill No. 546 (approved June 15, 1993), and further authorizing the Director of Commerce and the Director of Finance, where necessary or prudent, to enter into ancillary agreements with any or all of PAID, the RDA, Parametric Garage Associates ("Parametric"), a new lender to Parametric, and other parties under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s Public Employees Retirement Code to expand Plan '10 and the Defined Contribution Plan to additional City employees, including certain municipal employees and employees of the Sheriff’s Office and Register of Wills.
