The adopted resolution authorizes the Committee on Labor and Civil Service to hold public hearings about alleged mistreatment of LP Group 2 workers on Neighborhood Transformation Initiative projects.
Authorizing the Committee on Labor and Civil Service to hold public hearings to examine the mistreatment of workers by LP Group 2 under contracts awarded though the Neighborhood Transformation Initiative after the workers in question have now been subject to 18 hours of hearings before the Board of Labor Standards while the City of Philadelphia has stated they have the money available to pay the workers.

This adopted resolution authorizes the City’s Commissioner of Public Property to transfer conditional ownership of 6229 Germantown Avenue, a City-owned property, to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority without payment.
