Celebrating the impactful, accomplished and joyful life of Philadelphia human rights leader, lawyer, professor and mentor David M. Rosenblum whose sudden and tragic passing at the age of 47 has stunned his family, friends and has left a hole in the hearts of the Philadelphia LGBTQ communities.

The adopted resolution authorizes the City’s Commissioner of Public Property to transfer conditional ownership of 2026 Martha Street to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority at no cost.
Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority, without consideration, deeds conveying conditional fee simple title to certain City-owned lots or pieces of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon, situate in the Thirty-first Ward of the City of Philadelphia, pursuant to Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code and authorizing the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority to dispose of such properties for rehabilitation and/or improvements in accordance with terms of Chapter l6-400 of The Philadelphia Code.

City Council adopted a resolution approving a Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority contract to redevelop two properties at 1507 and 1515 Catharine Street in the South Central Urban Renewal Area.
Approving the redevelopment contract of the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority for the redevelopment and urban renewal of a portion of the South Central Urban Renewal Area, identified by house numbers and street addresses as 1507 Catharine street and 1515 Catharine street; and authorizing the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority to execute the redevelopment contract with Francis Pomarico and to take such action as may be necessary to effectuate the redevelopment contract.
