This lapsed proposal would have exempted live performing arts venues from fees for curb loading zone permits and allowed the City to create priority loading and unloading zones near qualifying venues.
Amending Title 12 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Traffic Code," Chapter 12-100, "General Provisions," by adding new definitions, and Chapter 12-900, "Parking Regulations And Penalties," by adding "live performing arts venue" to the entities exempt from paying fees for curb loading zone permits and adding a new Section, entitled "Performing Arts Priority Loading And Unloading Zones," providing for loading and unloading zones to allow easier access for performing artists to load-in and load-out at live performing arts venues around the City of Philadelphia; all under certain terms and conditions.
