Philadelphia City Council adopted a resolution honoring and congratulating Pesto Restaurant for winning the first Rachael Ray “Little Italy Showdown.” The restaurant represented Philadelphia and defeated restaurants from New York and San Francisco; the resolution also provided an engrossed copy to owners John and Concetta Varallo.
