Philadelphia City Council adopted a resolution also naming South Third Street between West Oregon Avenue and its southern terminus “Stone House Lane.” The name recognizes the street’s historical name and connection to the former neighborhood known as “The Neck.”

City Council adopted a resolution approving a Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority contract to redevelop 2217 South Fifth Street in the Whitman Urban Renewal Area.
