This lapsed bill would have authorized the Mayor and the President of City Council to file articles creating a nonprofit fund to reimburse Philadelphia School District teachers for personal money spent on classroom supplies, materials, and equipment.
Authorizing City Officials to File Articles of Incorporation to establish a Non-Profit Corporation that shall be called The Philadelphia School Teacher's Reimbursement Fund, Inc., for the purpose of reimbursing personal money spent by teachers of the Philadelphia School District for the purchase of supplies, materials, and equipment needed for their classrooms.

This lapsed resolution would have authorized the Committee on Finance to hold hearings about annual reports from City offices, departments, boards, and commissions that charge fees for permits, licenses, or other documents.
Authorizing the Committee on Finance to hold hearings to examine the City's Annual Reports requirement as it relates to every City office, department, board and commission that issues any permit, licenses or other document for which a fee is charged in order to ascertain and discuss with the Administration the current availability of these reports and going forward, a schedule which sets out when these reports can be made available to Council for this fiscal year and every fiscal year thereafter.

This lapsed bill would have amended Philadelphia’s rules for city funds to add Santander Bank, National Association, as an authorized city depository.
Amending Chapter 19-200 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "City Funds - Deposits, Investments, Disbursements," by amending Section 19-201, entitled "City Depositories," by authorizing the City Treasurer to deposit funds in Santander Bank, National Association, under certain terms and conditions.
