This enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia’s Business Privilege Tax payment rules for businesses.
Amending Chapter 19-2600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled 'Business Privilege Taxes,' by eliminating for new businesses the requirement to make an estimated payment when filing a return for their first tax year of business operations and allowing the estimated payment in succeeding years to be made in quarterly installments, all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted bill authorizes the Department of Streets to add bicycle lanes in both directions on Island Avenue between Penrose Avenue and Enterprise Avenue, and along the full length of Enterprise Avenue.
Amending Section 12-701 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Bicycle Lanes," by authorizing the Department of Streets to designate bicycle lanes, in both directions, on Island Avenue from Penrose Avenue to Enterprise Avenue, and on Enterprise Avenue, for its entire length, and authorizing the removal of travel lanes on both Island Avenue and Enterprise Avenue, in the same limits, all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted ordinance amended Philadelphia’s Zoning Maps for certain areas bounded by Ashton Road, Old Ashton Road, Welsh Road, Axe Factory Road, Winchester Avenue, Holme Avenue, and Holme Circle.
