This lapsed bill would have allowed certain Philadelphia liquor licensees and permit holders in designated Extended Hours Zones to sell liquor and malt or brewed beverages until 4:00 a.m., including on Sundays.
Amending Chapter 9-2700 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sales of Alcohol: Verification of Age," to authorize the sale of liquor and malt or brewed beverages until 4:00 A.M., and to shorten the Chapter title, all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted measure created a process for preparing Administrative Environmental Assessments for pending City Council ordinances when a Council member requests one.
Amending Title 21 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Miscellaneous," by creating a new Chapter 21-2600, entitled "Environmental Impact Statements," to provide for the preparation of such statements in connection with Council legislation; all under certain terms and conditions.

The enacted ordinance authorizes changes to the City Plan that vacate portions of Glenloch Place and Ditman Street and abandon a 40-foot-wide drainage right-of-way between them.
Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 322 by striking from the City Plan and vacating Glenloch Place from Megargee Street to its terminus northeastwardly therefrom, striking from the City Plan and vacating Ditman Street from a point southwest of Tolbut Street to its terminus further southwestwardly therefrom, and striking from the City Plan and abandoning a certain drainage right-of-way which extends between the said termini of Glenloch Place and Ditman Street, under certain terms and conditions.

The enacted measure increases the Hero Award available to the surviving spouse or life partner, dependent children, or dependent parents of a firefighter, police officer, or prosecution detective killed while performing a heroic deed involving a special hazard or risk.
Amending Section 21-105 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Hero Awards," by increasing the amount that may be awarded to family members of firefighters, police officers, and prosecution detectives killed in the course of performing heroic deeds, and by making certain technical changes; all under certain terms and conditions.
