This enacted legislation amends Philadelphia’s rules for curb cuts by defining “curb cut” and “transit platform area.” It prohibits new curb cuts in designated transit platform areas and generally restricts curb cuts for vehicle or delivery-truck access within 65 feet of residential property for certain large CA-2-zoned lots, with exceptions for sole parking access and authorized emergency or public-service vehicles.
Amending Section 11-104 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Curb Cuts," to define curb cut and add prohibitions on curb cuts in order to facilitate the construction of transit platforms, under certain terms and conditions.
