THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Title 10 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Regulation of Individual Conduct and Activity,” is hereby amended to read as follows:

TITLE 10. REGULATION OF INDIVIDUAL CONDUCT AND ACTIVITY.

Chapter 10-300. Minors.

Prohibition on Attendance of Children at Movies Shown After 7:00 P.M.

No adult shall bring a child under the age of six into a movie theatre to attend a movie after 7:00 P.M., unless that movie is raged “G” for general audiences.

No movie theatre establishment shall permit a child under the age of six to attend a movie after 7:00 P.M., unless that movie is rated “G” for general audiences.

Any adult or movie theatre establishment found in violation of this Section shall be subject to a fine not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00).
