Full Bill

WHEREAS, Pastor Quainoo, affectionately called Pastor Patrick, was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa and relocated to Philadelphia about twelve years ago. God has since put a burden of spiritual awakening in him for the City of Philadelphia; and

WHEREAS,

Pastor Patrick is the founder and Presiding Pastor of Christian Faith Ministries (Philadelphia's Cosmopolitan Church). He started the Philadelphia Chapter of the full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International, where men, women and children come together to fellowship and network in order to advance their spiritual and physical well being; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Patrick is currently a member of the advisory Board of the Eastern Pennsylvania Prison Fellowship, and also a member of the Delaware Valley Pastor's Fellowship. Considered a reverting conference speaker with a passion for prayer, he is currently the link to Prayer Summit International for Philadelphia; and

WHEREAS, Prayer Summit International 2000, to be held May 26-27, 2000 at the Marriott Hotel in Center City, Philadelphia, seeks to do this by helping Christians to learn and enjoy praying without undue struggles and realize that there is no substitute for prayer; now therefore

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That we hereby honor Pastor Patrick Quainoo and commend his work with Prayer Summit International and dedication to assisting his Fellow Man in gaining a better understanding of the need for God's intervention in the affairs of humankind.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to Pastor Patrick Quainoo as evidence of the respect and sincere regard of this legislative body and in recognition of his continued commitment to uplifting the human spirit and responding to its multiplicity of needs.
