Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to lease for nominal consideration, certain parcels of land owned by the School District of Philadelphia, located at Twenty-ninth and Chalmers, and Roxborough High School's athletic field and track, under certain terms and conditions.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to lease from the School District of Philadelphia for a term of thirty years, for a nominal consideration, all or certain portions of the following parcels of land (to be described by metes and bounds descriptions prepared by the Board of Surveyors): (i) athletic fields located at Twenty-ninth and Chalmers, and (ii) Roxborough High School's athletic field and track.
SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to prepare and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate the purposes of this Ordinance, and to include in all such documents and instruments such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately.
