Full Bill

WHEREAS, The City Employees Combined Campaign Choir was organized in October, 1997, as an innovative and creative method to increase City employee pledges to meet the City's stated charitable fundraising goals; and

WHEREAS, In an effort to enhance and encourage donations, the Combined Campaign Choir engages in cross-City campaigns, embracing such themes as “Claim Your Dream, Philadelphia” and “Embrace Your Dream;” and

WHEREAS, Approximately 35

City employees are members of the Combined Campaign Choir, representing several different departments and agencies of the government of the City of Philadelphia; and

WHEREAS, These dedicated City employees help the Combined Campaign Choir fulfill its mission to deliver a message, through song, to promote giving to those less fortunate than we; now therefore

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That we hereby honor the City Employees Combined Campaign Choir.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to the City Employees Combined Campaign Choir as evidence of the sincere sentiments of this legislative body.
