Full Bill

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Procurement Commissioner, pursuant to the provision of Sections 11-502 and 11-503 of The Philadelphia Code, is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the paving of the following streets:

(a) Markoe street from Fairmount avenue to Brown street.

(b) Aspen street from Forty-fourth street to Forty-seventh street.

(c) Forty-fifth street from Fairmount avenue to Brown street.

(d) Forty-seventh street from former Meredith street to former Folsom street.

(e) The easternmost five (5)

foot wide portion of Forty-seventh street from Fairmount avenue to Meredith street.

SECTION 2. In lieu of the provisions of Section 1, the party in interest shall file an agreement and bond with corporate surety, satisfactory to the Law Department and in an amount determined by the Streets Department, to cover the cost of the work required to completely pave at his sole cost and expense, Markoe street, Aspen street, Forty-fifth street, and portions of Forty-seventh street, in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the City of Philadelphia.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), toward the cost thereof, is paid into the City Treasury within sixty (60) days after this Ordinance becomes law.
