Full Bill

WHEREAS, Anne Rubin has enjoyed an outstanding reputation in the real estate industry since she began her career with Landmark Realty Company in 1988; and

WHEREAS, In the ensuing years, Anne has enjoyed continual growth and success with the company which is now known as CENTURY 21 Advantage Gold; and

WHEREAS, Since 1992, Anne has been named the top listing agent with the company and been successful in the sales, as well as, the marketing of real estate. She has been the top agent in the company since 1996, as is evidenced by her receipt of the Centurion Award as the most productive agent in the organization; and

WHEREAS, Anne earned the Graduate Realtors Institute designation and obtained her Pennsylvania broker’s license in 1991. Two years later she secured her Certified Residential Specialist designation, a title that only 5%

of realtors attain; and

WHEREAS, Anne served as President of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors for two terms, joining only two other presidents in the last century, who ever held the position for more than one term; and

WHEREAS, As president of the association Anne was the voice and force behind promoting legislation to advance the real estate community in Philadelphia as she worked closely with City Government and City Council on countless occasions; and

WHEREAS, Anne has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Community Service Award, given by the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors for her civic awareness and strong leadership. She also received their REALTOR of the year award in 2002; and

WHEREAS, Anne is happily married since 1985 to her husband, Harvey, a Philadelphia High School teacher. They are the proud parents of four children, Sarah, Hava and twins Bayla and Benjamin; now, therefore,

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That we honor Anne Rubin for her civic awareness and outstanding leadership during her years as an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors.

FURTHER RESOLVED, That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to Anne Rubin as evidence of the sincere sentiments of this legislative body.
