THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 14-103 of The Philadelphia Code, The Philadelphia Zoning Maps are hereby amended by changing the zoning designation of certain areas of land from Class "G2" General Industrial to a designation of "REC" Recreational.

PARCEL A

All that certain interior lot or piece of ground, situate in the 21st Ward of the City of Philadelphia and described according to a Survey and Plan of Property (III-A-49) made by John P. Parkinson, P. L. S., Surveyor and Regulator of the Ninth Survey District, dated November 7, 2003:

Beginning at the point of intersection of the northwesterly confirmed side of Fountain Street ( 40’ wide, legally open 33’ wide ) and the northeastern most side of the Manayunk Canal, said point located at the distance of 297.104’ from the northeasterly side of Flatrock Road (40’ wide): Thence extending along the said northeastern most side of the Manayunk Canal North forty five degrees three minutes forty seconds west the distance of 88.906’ to an angle point; Thence extending still along the said northeastern most side of the Manayunk Canal North forty three degrees fifty four minutes forty three seconds west the distance of 35.403’ to a point; thence extending the following (6) courses and distances along the southwesterly side of a certain retaining wall: (1) South fifty three degrees five minutes seven seconds east the distance of 79.100’ to an angle point; (2) south forty degrees thirty three minutes seventeen seconds east the distance of 10.931’ to a point; (3) South thirty six degrees twenty four minutes fifty three seconds west the distance of 1.500’ to a point; (4) South fifty three degrees thirty five minutes seven seconds east the distance of 7.809’ to a point; (5) North thirty six degrees twenty four minutes fifty three seconds east the distance of 1.500’ to a point; (6) south forty six degrees forty one minutes twenty six seconds east the distance of 25.836’ to a point on the said northwesterly confirmed side of said Fountain Street South forty six degrees forty one minutes twenty six seconds east the distance of 3.514’ to a point on the northwesterly legally open line of said Fountain Street; Thence extending along the said northwesterly legally open line of Fountain Street South thirty eight degrees six minutes forty seconds west the distance of 12.977’ to a point; Thence extending and recrossing the northwesterly legally open line of Fountain Street North forty five degrees three minutes forty seconds west the distance of 3.525’ to the first mentioned point and place of beginning. Containing in area 1,051 square feet.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately.
