Full Bill

WHEREAS, Jon Bon Jovi, Craig A. Spencer, and Ron Jaworski were instrumental in bringing to Philadelphia it's first Arena Football team; and

WHEREAS, Jon Bon Jovi, Craig A. Spencer, and Ron Jaworski exhibited great pride, commitment, and confidence in the City of Philadelphia with their successful efforts to secure an Arena Football team for the City of Brotherly Love; and

WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Soul, in their inaugural season, has had an overwhelmingly positive response from the fans of Philadelphia; and

WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Soul organization is committed to improving the quality of life for children in Philadelphia through their devotion to working with charities, schools and civic groups, to make positive contributions throughout Philadelphia; now therefore

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That this resolution hereby honors, commends, and thanks Jon Bon Jovi, Craig A. Spencer, and Ron Jaworski for their dedication and commitment to the City and People of Philadelphia; and

FURTHER RESOLVED, That Engrossed copies of this resolution be presented to Jon Bon Jovi, Craig A. Spencer, and Ron Jaworski, as evidence of the sincere sentiments of this legislative body.
