WHEREAS, James Lee Wright was an outstanding community leader; and
WHEREAS, His commitment and contribution to the Mantua area and the community at large is indelibly etched in hearts and minds of the residents of Mantua; and
WHEREAS, The residents of the community wish to honor the memory of James Lee Wright with a fitting tribute; now, therefore
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The Mantua Recreation Center located at 34th Street and Haverford Avenue is hereby named and designated the "James Lee Wright Recreation Center."
