THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The Procurement Commissioner, pursuant to the provision of Sections 11-502 and 11-503 of The Philadelphia Code, is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the paving of the following streets:
(a) Capri Drive from Twentieth Street to a point southwest of Verona Drive.
(b) Verona Drive from Capri Drive to DaVinci Drive.
(c) Davinci Drive from Verona Drive to Capri Drive.
SECTION 2. In lieu of the provisions of Section 1, the party in interest shall file an agreement and bond with corporate surety, satisfactory to the Law Department and in an amount determined by the Streets Department, to cover the cost of the work required to completely pave at his sole cost and expense, Capri Drive, DaVinci Drive and Verona Drive in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the City of Philadelphia.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), toward the cost thereof, is paid into the City Treasury within one hundred twenty (120) days after this Ordinance becomes law.
