THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Chapter 20-300 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

CHAPTER 20-300. COMPENSATION

§20-304. Compensation for Members of Boards, Commissions, Committees, and Councils.

(7) Board of Revision of Taxes. Each member of the Board of Revision of Taxes shall receive an annual salary of [sixty thousand ($60,000) dollars]

seventy thousand ($70,000) dollars

. The Secretary shall receive and annual salary of [sixty two thousand ($62,000) dollars]

seventy two thousand ($72,000) dollars

. The Chairman of the Board of Revision of Taxes shall receive an annual salary of [sixty five thousand ($65,000) dollars]

seventy five thousand ($75,000) dollars

(9) Board of Viewers. Each member of the Board of Viewers appointed under Act 6 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved June 22, 1964, as amended, shall receive an annual salary of [forty thousand ($40,000) dollars]

fifty thousand ($50,000) dollars

. Any member of the Board of Revision of Taxes, appointed as a member of a Board of Viewers, shall not be entitled to receive the compensation fixed in this section but shall receive only the salary provided for a member of the Board of Revision of Taxes.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be effective retroactively from July 1, 2004.
