THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia (“City”), is hereby authorized to acquire by purchase, condemnation or other means the properties located at 314 North 19th Street, 316 North 19th Street, 1932 and 1934 Callowhill Street, 1936-1942 Callowhill Street, 1937 Carlton Street, and 1939-1945 Carlton Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (collectively, the “Properties”).

SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to include in any documents to be executed, accepted, or filed by the Commissioner of Public Property in connection with acquisition of the Properties such terms and provisions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary or appropriate to protect the interests of the City. The City Solicitor may take any action necessary or desirable to carry out the purpose of this Ordinance.
