Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property and the Executive Director of the Fairmount Park Commission, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into an agreement to lease to Friends of Father Judge High School, Inc., for further sublease to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, approximately 0.398 acres of ground located east of the intersection of Rowland and Solly Avenues, and, in consideration thereof, further authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property and the Executive Director of the Fairmount Park Commission, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into an agreement to sublease from the Friends of Father Judge High School, Inc., approximately 0.40 acres of ground located east of Rowland and Solly Avenues, under certain terms and conditions.

Full Bill

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1.

The Commissioner of Public Property and the Executive Director of the Fairmount Park Commission, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, substantially in the form set forth in Exhibit “A” attached hereto, to lease to Friends of Father Judge High School, Inc. (the “Friends”), for further sublease to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, approximately 0.398 acres of ground located east of the intersection of Rowland and Solly Avenues.

SECTION 2.

The Commissioner of Public Property and the Executive Director of the Fairmount Park Commission, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, substantially in the form set forth in Exhibit “B” attached hereto, to sublease from the Friends approximately 0.40 acres of ground located east of Rowland and Solly Avenues.

SECTION 3.

The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and to approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of The City of Philadelphia and carry out the purpose of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4.

The Chief Clerk of City Council shall keep on file all exhibits referenced in this Ordinance and shall make them available for inspection by the public during regular office hours.
