THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1.

The Commissioner of Public Property is hereby authorized to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development, for nominal consideration, a deed conveying fee simple title to the following described tract of ground for further conveyance at fair market value:

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground, situate in the 59th Ward of the City of Philadelphia, described as follows to wit;

BEGINNING at a point formed by the intersection of the Northwesterly side of West Haines Street (variable width) and the Southwesterly side of Germantown Avenue (60 feet wide); thence extending from said point of beginning Southwestwardly along the said Northwesterly side of West Haines Street the distance of 419 feet 8 inches more or less to a point; thence extending North 49 degrees 44 minutes 17 seconds West the distance of 167 feet 0 3/4 inches to a point; thence extending North 41 degrees 31 minutes 35 seconds East the distance of 219 feet 5 1/8 inches more or less to a point; thence extending South 40 degrees 43 minutes East the distance of 80 feet 2 inches more or less to a point; thence extending North 44 degrees 43 minutes East the distance of 244 feet 10 3/8 inches more or less to a point on the said Southwesterly side of Germantown Avenue; thence extending Southeastwardly along the said Southwesterly side of Germantown Avenue the distance of 87 feet more or less to a point on the said Northwesterly side of West Haines Street, being the first mentioned point and place of beginning.

SECTION 2.

The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interest of the City.

SECTION 3.

Net proceeds from the sale of this property shall be deposited in the City’s General Fund.
