THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1

.

The Commissioner of Public Property is hereby authorized to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development, for nominal consideration, a deed conveying fee simple title to the following described tract of ground for further conveyance at fair market value:

ALL THAT CERTAIN, lot or piece of ground, with the buildings and improvements thereon erected. SITUATE in the 41st Ward of the City of Philadelphia, bounded and described according to a survey and plan thereof made by John J. McKeough Jr., Surveyor and Regulator of the 1st Survey District dated the 26th day of March A.D. 1963 as follows, to wit.

BEGINNING at a point on the Southeasterly side of Frankford Avenue (as open 60 feet wide) within the bed of Frankford Avenue (confirmed 70 feet wide) at the distance of 101 feet 10 7/8 inches, Northeastwardly from the Northeasterly side of Rhawn Street (60 feet wide); thence North 66 degrees, 26 minutes 14 seconds East along the said side of Frankford Avenue 65 feet 0 inches to a point; thence South 23 degrees 55 minutes 1 second East 321 feet 1 1/4 inches to a point; thence North 80 degrees, 38 minutes, 39 seconds West 7 feet 5 1/4 inches to a point; thence South 71 degrees, 27 minutes, 27 seconds West 25 feet 1 1/4 inches to a point; thence North 23 degrees, 37 minutes, 37 seconds West 14 feet 0 inches to a point; thence North 80 degrees, 38 minutes, 39 seconds West 40 feet 6 inches to a point; thence North 23 degrees, 55 minutes 1 seconds West 278 feet 10 1/4 inches to a point on the Southeasterly side of Frankford Avenue aforesaid, the first mentioned point and place of beginning.

CONTAINING in area nineteen thousand six hundred seventy three and eighty six one hundredths square feet.

SECTION 2

The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interest of the City.

SECTION 3

.

Net proceeds from the sale of this property shall be deposited in the City’s General Fund.
