THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 9-212 of The Philadelphia Code, relating to Newsstands is amended to read as follows:
§9-212. Newsstands.

(4) Location of Newsstands.

(e) There shall be no newsstand in the following locations:

(.7) within the area bounded by Passyunk Avenue, 13th Street and Mifflin Street, including both sides of Passyunk Avenue and Mifflin Street. This location shall be exempt from the provisions of subsection 9-212(4)(f).

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately.
