THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Section 14-1600 of The Philadelphia Code is amended by adding a new section to read as follows:

Special Height Controls for Vine Street.

(1) District Boundaries. For the purposes of this Section, the Special Height Controls for Vine Street shall apply to all properties within the area bounded by Vine street, Franklintown Boulevard, Seventeenth street, Wood street, and Sixteenth street.

(2) Maximum Height. The maximum height of any building or structure within the area subject to the Special Height Controls for Vine Street shall not exceed 550 feet, excluding appurtenances thereto, in height above the average sidewalk level.

(3) Conflicting Regulations. When the provisions of this Section conflict with other provisions of this Title, the provisions herein shall control.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately.
