Transmitting a bill authorizing the President of the Fairmount Park Commission to execute a ground lease and license agreement with the Philadelphia Museum of Art corporation ("Corporation") under which the Corporation would (1) construct a parking garage and related improvements in East Fairmount Park in the vicinity of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to primarily serve patrons of the Museum, (2) construct and operate a sculpture garden above the garage, (3) pay all costs to construct, operate, maintain, repair, replace and improve the garage, sculpture garden, and related improvements, (4) construct a new surface parking lot in East Fairmount Park, and (5) make other improvements for the benefit of the City; all under certain terms and conditions, accompanied by an explanatory letter from the Executive Director of the Fairmount Park Commission.
