THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1.

The Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, is hereby authorized to purchase for nominal consideration from the School District of Philadelphia fee simple title to certain tracts of land with buildings and improvements thereon, known as 4000-10 Germantown Avenue located on the west side of Germantown Avenue and 4001-17 Germantown Avenue located on the east side of Germantown Avenue (collectively, “the properties”).

SECTION 2.

The Commissioner of Public Property is hereby authorized to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development for nominal consideration, a deed conveying fee simple title to the properties, for further conveyance to the Triumph Baptist Church for nominal consideration.

SECTION 3.

The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and to approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City.
