WHEREAS, There are six vacancies on the Veterans' Advisory Commission to be appointed by the Council President with approval of Council by Resolution, four of whom must be appointed from nominations of veterans' organizations, and two of whom may be appointed at large; and
WHEREAS, The Council President, subject to Council approval, has appointed Delano Stones, a nominee of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Liberty Bell Chapter 266, to the Veterans' Advisory Commission; now, therefore,
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA,
THAT The Council hereby approves the appointment of Delano Stones to the Veterans' Advisory Commission for a five year term commencing with the date this Resolution is adopted.
