THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Title 2 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

TITLE 2. CITY-COUNTY CONSOLIDATION.

CHAPTER 2-100. CITY-COUNTY CONSOLIDATION.

§ 2-112. City Commissioners.

(7) Training For Candidates. The City Commissioners shall make available four (4) times per year to candidates, prospective candidates and representatives of political committees training regarding the financial disclosure requirements applicable to candidates for City office contained in the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act, 65 Pa. C.S. § 1101, et seq. (commonly known as the “Ethics Act”).

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective upon adoption of a change to the Home Rule Charter providing that the City Commissioners shall have the power and its duty shall be to perform training regarding election matters as directed by ordinance
