Amending Section 14-1402 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Parking in Residential Districts," by reducing parking requirements when spaces for car sharing organizations are voluntarily provided, all under certain terms and conditions.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 14-1402 of The Philadelphia Code is amended to read as follows:
§14-1402. Parking in Residential Districts.

(2) Number of Spaces Required. For all dwellings one space for each family, except as follows:

(b) The above parking requirements may be reduced by twenty-five percent (25%) if two (2) or more parking spaces are provided for the exclusive use of car sharing organizations, as defined by Section 12-918 of The Philadelphia Code, for each one hundred (100) residential units, or part thereof.
