Authorizing the President of the Fairmount Park Commission, the Executive Director of Fairmount Park, and the Procurement Commissioner, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into a Concession Agreement with Billy Casper Golf, LLC, under which Billy Casper Golf, LLC, would improve, operate, manage and maintain four 18-hole golf courses and one sports center under the jurisdiction of the Fairmount Park Commission, including Olde Course and Karakung Course at Cobb's Creek Golf Club, Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Course, John D. Byrne Golf Course, and the City Line Sports Center; all under certain terms and conditions.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The President of the Fairmount Park Commission, the Executive Director of Fairmount Park, and the Procurement Commissioner are hereby authorized to execute a concession agreement ("Concession Agreement") with Billy Casper Golf, LLC, under which BCG would operate, manage and maintain four 18-hole golf courses and one sports center under the jurisdiction of the Fairmount Park Commission, including Olde Course and Karakung Course at Cobb's Creek Golf Club, Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Course, John D. Byrne Golf Course, and the City Line Sports Center.
SECTION 2. The Concession Agreement shall be substantially in the form set forth in Exhibit "1" of this Ordinance and the Chief Clerk of City Council is directed to keep the Concession Agreement on file and available for public inspection during regular office hours.
SECTION 3. The City Solicitor is authorized to make changes to the Concession Agreement and to prepare all additional documents the City Solicitor deems necessary to complete the Concession Agreement and that are consistent with this Ordinance.
