Authorizing the paving of Ontario Street from the northwesterly side of the right-of-way of the Philadelphia Beltline Railroad to Delaware Avenue, under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1

. The Procurement Commissioner, pursuant to the provision of Sections 11-502 and 11-503 of The Philadelphia Code, is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the paving of Ontario Street from the northwesterly side of the right-of-way of the Philadelphia Beltline Railroad to Delaware Avenue.

SECTION 2

. In lieu of the provisions of Section 1, the party in interest shall file an agreement and bond with corporate surety, satisfactory to the City Solicitor and in an amount determined by the Department of Streets, to cover the cost of the work required to completely pave Ontario Street from the northwesterly side of the right-of-way of the Philadelphia Beltline Railroad to Delaware Avenue at his sole cost and expense in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the City of Philadelphia.

SECTION 3

. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), toward the cost thereof, is paid into the City Treasury within one hundred and twenty (120) days after this Ordinance becomes law.
