THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any contrary requirements of the Philadelphia Industrial and Commercial Development Agreement between the City, the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (PAID) and the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), PAID is authorized to convey fee simple title to the following described property located in the vicinity of Sixty-first Street and Eastwick Avenue to the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority (PRPA), for a total consideration of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00):

All that certain tract, piece or parcel of land situate in the 40th Ward of the City of Philadelphia, County of Philadelphia, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being designated a Lot 1 as shown on a Subdivision and Lot Consolidation Plan prepared by Pennoni Associates, Inc., dated April 28, 2008, and being now more particularly described, as follows to wit:

Beginning for the same at a point on the southerly Right-of-Way line of 61st Street (108 feet wide), point being measured South 60 Degrees 14 Minutes 08 Seconds East, 367.000 feet from the intersection of the southerly Right-of-Way line of said 61st Street with the easterly Right-of-Way line of Eastwick Avenue (80 feet wide), to wit;

(1) South 60 Degrees 14 Minutes 08 Seconds East, 968.216 feet, along 61st Street, 968.216 feet to a point, thence continuing;

(2) South 14 Degrees 21 Minutes 38 Seconds West, 640.780 feet to a point, thence continuing;

(3) North 60 Degrees 14 Minutes 08 Seconds West, 1,158.421 feet to a point, thence continuing;

(4) North 29 Degrees 45 Minutes 52 Seconds East, 317.762 feet to a point, thence continuing;

(5) South 60 Degrees 14 Minutes 08 Seconds East, 20.000 feet to a point, thence continuing;

(6) North 29 Degrees 45 Minutes 52 Seconds East, 300.000 feet to the point and place of beginning, containing within these metes and bounds 657,054.94 square feet or 15.08391 acres of land, more or less, be the contents thereof what they may.

SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and to approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interest of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance.
