RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA
, That City Council Hereby Recognize, Honor, And Celebrate the Washington D.C., Martin Luther King, Jr., National Memorial – For Its creation of a memorial to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s., national and international contributions to world peace through non-violent social change.
FURTHER RESOLVED,
That an Engrossed copy of this resolution be presented to Harry E. Johnson, Sr. President & Chief Executive Officer Washington, D.C. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation, Inc. as further evidencing the sincere admiration and gratitude of this legislative body.
