THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. The Commissioner of Public Property on behalf of the City of Philadelphia is hereby authorized to execute and deliver to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development, for nominal consideration, a deed conveying fee simple title to certain parcels of land with the improvements thereon, generally described as follows, for further conveyance for fair market value:

ALL THAT CERTAIN tract or parcel of land with the improvements thereon erected, SITUATE in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:

SITUATE on the Westerly side of 9th Street at the distance of 98 feet Northwardly from the Northerly side of Susquehanna Avenue in the 37th Ward of the City of Philadelphia;

CONTAINING in front or breadth on the said 9th Street 112 feet and extending of that width in length or depth Westwardly between parallel lines at right angles to said 9th Street 175 feet to Delhi Street;

AND ALSO SITUATE on the Westerly side of 9th Street at the distance of 210 feet North of Susquehanna Avenue in the 37th Ward of the City of Philadelphia.

CONTAINING in front or breadth on said 9th Street 96 feet and extending of that width in length or depth Westwardly between parallel lines at right angles to said 9th Street 175 feet to Delhi Street.

BEING known as 2216-2240 North 9th Street.

SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interests of the City and to carry out the purposes of this Ordinance.

SECTION 3. Net proceeds from the sale of this property shall be deposited in the City's General Fund.
